Cookie policy
DriveDrop uses the cookies and browser storage needed to sign you in and take payment securely, plus advertising measurement cookies that only run if you accept them.

What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies such as local storage work the same way and are covered by this policy.
What we use
- Authentication — a session token stored by our authentication provider so you stay signed in and can only see your own jobs. Removing it signs you out.
- Payment — cookies set by our payment processor during checkout to protect the transaction and prevent fraud.
- Preferences — small values remembering interface choices such as your last quote inputs.
- Security — short-lived tokens protecting forms and API requests against abuse.
- Advertising measurement (only with your consent) — Google Ads tags that tell us which adverts led to a quote or booking. These are set only after you press Accept on our cookie banner, and they are blocked until then.
- Site measurement — we count page views using a short, one-way code created from your browser and device type. It is not a cookie, it cannot be traced back to you, and it does not follow you to other websites.
Your choice
The first time you visit we ask whether you accept advertising measurement cookies. Rejecting them has no effect on your quotes, bookings or account, and we keep your answer in your browser so we do not ask again. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which clears your answer and shows the banner again.
What we do not use
We do not sell your data to advertisers and we do not build profiles about you or your household. Advertising cookies are used only to measure whether our own adverts worked.
Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or completing a payment, so parts of DriveDrop will stop working.
