Question 1

How much does it cost to transport a car from Liverpool to Edinburgh?

Accepted Answer

The price comes from our published pricing matrix using the real road distance — roughly 215 miles on this lane — the transporter type (open or enclosed) and the vehicle's condition. You see the full figure before you book and it never changes afterwards.

Question 2

How long does delivery from Liverpool to Edinburgh take?

Accepted Answer

Every booking uses a 14 day collection window while the network builds out, and the vehicle is normally delivered within one to three days of being collected depending on distance. You will be told the collection date once a transporter accepts the job.

Question 3

Are ULEZ, congestion and Dartford charges included?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Clean-air, congestion and crossing charges on the agreed route are the transporter's responsibility and are already covered by the quoted price. You will not be invoiced separately for them.

Question 4

What is the difference between open and enclosed transport?

Accepted Answer

Open transport is the standard, most cost-effective option and is used for the vast majority of moves. Enclosed transport keeps the vehicle fully covered and is priced higher — it suits classics, low-clearance cars, high-value vehicles and anything you would not want exposed to road spray.

Question 5

Can you collect a car that does not run?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Declare it as a non-runner when you book so the driver arrives with winch equipment. We also need to know whether it rolls, steers and brakes, and whether keys are available.

Question 6

Is my vehicle insured in transit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every transporter on the platform has their goods-in-transit and public liability cover checked by our team before they can accept work, and their operator licence and fleet documents are reviewed too.

Question 7

What happens if nobody is there at collection or delivery?

Accepted Answer

Collection and delivery are both recorded in the app with photographs and a condition record, so you can nominate someone else to hand over or receive the vehicle. Let us know in the booking notes and we will pass the contact to the driver.
